Organic Skin Care

Organic Skin Care products are not only safe, but also very effective. However, sadly due to the secondary position of extensive research and rigorous safety testing in the manufacture of skin care products, the manufacturers do not conduct the long term studies to ensure the safety of their products.

The organic skin care or natural skin care products are synonymous with the phrase: No Side Effects! This is a fact and springs from the fact that these skin care products are made from natural ingredients found in nature. Recent research tests revealed that the Environmental Working Group found many reputed products containing toxic chemicals. Some of these toxic components are even linked to the onset of cancer! The organic skin-care products help to avoid this problem. The natural ingredients are tapped from the earth and not the laboratory. A number of herbs, botanicals, minerals and special soil types, like Fuller’s Earth make up the components of these organic skin care or natural skin care products.

The natural ingredients flaunted in the manufacture of organic skin care or natural skin care products are selected on the basis of the ability of the soil type or herb to heal and protect the sensitive skin, without the need for harmful additives like synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. All skin care products do need preservatives; however, during manufacturing process, the use of synthetic additives is minimized to a great extent. This ensures that the marketed product is actually pure and natural, without pesticides and fungicides!

The term ‘organic’ generally refers to fruit or vegetable or grain grown without the use of anything synthetic – pesticides, insecticides, hormones or any of the synthetic or toxic substances usually sprayed. In the case of organic skin care or natural skin care products the ‘Organic Certification’ is awarded only when the product range is developed over a three-year period without external synthetic protection and there are no artificial flavors or colors added. The certification does not encourage the use of ingredients that are irradiated or with genetically modified organisms. The latest national standard for organic labeling includes basic classification criteria.

The organic skin care or natural skin care products have to be 100% organic, which means that the product should contain only organically produced ingredients. The product should essentially contain at least 95% organic ingredients and it should be made with Organic Ingredients. The FDA ahs stepped in to force organic skin care or natural skin care product manufactures to ensure the display of simple and explicit ‘warning labels’ on the product containers, declaring the use of harmful chemicals, if any. All natural organic skin care products are water- chemical- cruelty- paraben- free! Botanical ingredients not only nourish the sensitive skin with bio-actives, but also enable the body to benefit from the naturally encapsulated liposome delivery system.

The organic skin care or natural skin care products offer deep trans-dermal absorption of the natural ingredients and this results in a rejuvenated you! There are a number of skin renewal activators available today that flaunt components that are bio-compatible and bio-available. This ‘all natural’ approach enables your skin to breathe, feel and look younger. The manufacturers of the organic skin care or natural skin care products have now come up with potent formulas to offer customers the desired skin lift, the natural way. A soft, smooth feel and luminescent skin is possible and probably the ingredients already grow in your backyard!

The water portion subscribed in each of the organic skin care or natural skin care products is replaced with botanical extracts and rich sea extracts, full of plant energy. The hydrosols and other bio energized liquids activate the skin, and prepare it for cell-penetration, for the desired skin lifting and toning. The healing vibrations balance skin and body. The fermentation of the natural liquids results in the one key product used in organic skin care products – the miracle broth – capable of healing enzymes and producing the essential vitamins and minerals required for a glowing skin.

The natural ingredients used in the organic skin care or natural skin care products imbue the epidermis with regenerative and anti-oxidant constituents. All natural organic skin treatments help to heal and balance the skin, with the help of the undiluted ingredients and minimal processing.

Beginning Black Skin Care For Men –

Beginning Black Skin Care For Men

Black skin care begins with knowing a few things about your skin type. In this article we go in depth with two of the most common issues on black skin: ingrown hair and razor bumps.

Black skin care is unique, it presents its own issues, and its own good thing too! Black men for example suffer two of the most well known issues with black skin. I’m talking about "Razor bumps" and "Ingrown hair", both of them related.

Pseudofolliculitis barbae, also called by its common name "razor bumps" present on faces who have coarse, wiry or curly hair, like… You guess black men! Did you know that around 85% of men have to deal with razor bumps everyday? Yes and this number increases everyday.

Razor bumps appear after shaving. The recent shaved hair curls back and burrows into the skin adjacent to the hair follicle. Right after shaving, the hair ends are very sharp and this facilitates the appearing of the bumps, and penetration of the skin. Then comes the nasty part: the razor bumps start itching, burning, possibly causing scarring and making shaving a next-to-impossible task. To end razor bumps many men shave tried depilatory creams, but these creams will often leave the skin with lots of irritation. Some "razor bumps cream" seem to help but on the long term the side effects catch up.

How Ingrown hairs begin

http://stopyourhairloss.com/enter.htm

Although it is true that both men and women suffer from ingrown hairs, men tend to have it more acute because of their facial hair follicle’s coarseness and thickness
Ingrown hairs build after the hair has been recently cut. As your hair grows, it curls over inside the follicle and doesn’t make it to the surface. The result is an unsightly, "bump" on the black skin. A few razor bumps moreover form when a growing hair exits the follicle and bends back towards the skin surface. When these sharp, shaved edges of coarse hair reach the skin surface, they grow back into the skin, producing these bumpy spots.

The Way to Solve Ingrown Hair on Black Skin

The best solution for most men is the simplest one: the use of tweezers. However it is good notice that nowadays there are good products out there destined to prevent ingrown hair and thus razor bumps.

A proper shaving technique is also needed to prevent ingrown hairs and razor bumps. Here we leave you with 5 tips to star today with your black skin care for men.

1. Be sure to use a clean blade at all times. If you have a bad case of razor bumps we recommend that you use a new blade every week. Be sure to throw away safely the used ones. If you use an electric shaver, replace the rotary blades accordingly.

2. Shave following the direction the hair grows. This is very important around the neck areas since shaving against the grain is one of the main causes of pointy, sharp hairs that can grow back into the skin.

3. Avoid stretching your skin to "shave better". This may cause darkness and discoloration of underlying skin.

4. Avoid skin irritation by eating well. Foods that contain lots of fat, oil, cholesterol or sodium make your skin prone to damage.

5. Depilatories work fast, but can produce even more irritation and redness. Remember to use an alcohol based cream to put on your face after you depilate.

How To Improve Your Skin Tone

How To Improve Your Skin Tone

http://www.howtocareskin.com/

America’s Top Model. We’ve all seen the show. Glamour girl with flawless skin that you say to yourself, why can’t I have a complexion like that, or how can I get my skin to look like that. Our skin is first of all, the foundation of our beauty. It is the largest organ on the body known as the epidermis that guards our muscles, bones, ligaments and internal organs.

Our journey through life can hit our delicate skin with age spots, blotchiness, dryness, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and a host of other unwanted bumps and bruises our skin can do without. No one ever promised us a rose garden, but a consistent regimen of skin care combined with skin lightening agents, and sun protection can lead to a beautiful clear complexion.

Sun protection: For a healthy and clear complexion, women of all ethnicities need to protect their skin by wearing sunscreen. Going outdoors without sunscreen puts all women at risk for a deadly form of skin cancer know as Melanoma. Although this form of skin cancer is more prevalent in light skin or Caucasian women, dark skin women who do not wear sunscreen not only put themselves at risk, but they increase their chances of developing hyperpigmentation as well. Women should wear sunscreen as a makeup base prior to their makeup application containing UV protection ingredients like Octinoxate, the world’s most popular UVB sunscreen, and broad-spectrum Zinc Oxide with a minimum of SPF 15 or more to protect their skin from burning UVB and aging UVA rays. Joy Lorraine Solar Defender SPF 28 UVA/UVB Moderate Protection Sunscreen is easy to wear throughout the year and is the perfect protection for any complexion.

Hyperpigmentation: Although most women suffer with some form of hyperpigmentation, it is most common with women of color. Successful treatment can be achieved with a consistent approach to treating the affected area over several weeks. The use of a lightening crme to reduce the level of melanin production will be worth the time invested for a clearer complexion. One option is Joy Lorraine Lightening Crme which gently diminishes hyperpigmentation.

Diet: Your diet has a direct impact on the health of your skin. Establishing healthy eating habits such as including a variety of fruits, vegetables and whole grains are all important for the skin, because they are packed with vitamins and minerals. Leafy green vegetables which are loaded with nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, zinc, and Vitamins A, C, E and K and are all very important for the skin to keep it looking its best inside and outside.

Exercise: If your schedule does not allow you to go to the gym, brisk daily walking for at least one-half hour during your lunch hour will be beneficial for the general health of your body. When you have small errands to run, try walking instead of driving. Not only will your body benefit, but you save on gas as well. The simple act of taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and of briskly walking around your block can add to improving your overall health. Now you can get rid of all the excuses and ‘just do it’.
Hydration: One thing that will make your skin look smooth is hydration. Proper hydration will keep your skin looking plump and make large pores less visible. The use of a moisturizer applied daily will further protect and improve your skin tone. It is best to apply to your skin while it is damp to create an effective moisture barrier. As you focus on improving your skin tone, don’t underestimate the effects that drinking water have on your looks. Try drinking at least 8 glasses of plain water each day and you will see a healthy and glowing complexion in no time.

Exfoliation: Exfoliation is important to remove dead skin cells and debris buildup which leads to a dull complexion. Not exfoliating your skin will cause it to look dull, dry and old and no one is ever ready for that. Exfoliation diminishes coarse or enlarged pores and helps slow down the signs of aging. Try our deep cleansing Foaming Facial Refiner formulated with micro-beads of soy, jojoba and rice bran to quickly smoothes rough skin of dead cells and pore clogging impurities, or our micro grain Ultimate Scrub to refine skin to a new clarity. No one is perfect but you can certainly make your skin look perfect by making exfoliation a part of your cleansing regimen.

The Amazing Vitamin C Skin Lightening Benefits

The Amazing Vitamin C Skin Lightening Benefits

Having a glowing looking skin requires that you have a daily skin care routine and you use the correct creams and ingredients that will make your skin look younger, whiter, lighter and bright, its known that vitamin c has potent skin lightening benefits.

To have a lighter skin you need to use ingredients that will absorb the UV rays of the sun to prevent the sun from darkening your skin and reduce production of melanin which is responsible for skin darkening.

New discoveries have shown that vitamin C has very good skin health benefits. For example vitamin C as ascorbyl form has been extensively tested, it inhibit the production of melanin, which is the pigment that produces a dark color to the skin.

When Vitamin C inhibits the production of melanin its just a matter of weeks before a brighter and lighter skin appears.

Also vitamin C increases the production of collagen and elastin in the body which reduces wrinkles and aging signs. Vitamin C repairs the skin when is injured and also regenerates vitamin E.

All those benefits of Vitamin C are great, however there have been some concerns about using vitamin C topically. Skin care companies have difficulties using vitamin C on their topical creams because vitamin C is unstable and oxidates when its exposed to the air. If vitamin C oxidates it can produce free radicals on the skin and create damage.

However there are other powerful natural ingredients that inhibit melanin and have natural whitening properties. Extrapone Nutgrass inhibits melanin, lights your skin, enhance your skin and have no harmful side effects.

Japanese Seaweed Forests Skin Care

Japanese Seaweed Forests Skin Care

  http://www.howtocareskin.com/

Kelp is a species of large seaweed (algae) with large broad leaves. It grows in large groups resembling forests on shallow ocean floors. Although it grows in marine environment, it is classified along with other forest species on land because of its quick growth and structure.

As we increasingly turn to the oceans to look for sources of food and energy, kelp is attracting major interest. However, it is for other lesser-known reasons that algaes such as wakame are more commonly discussed these days. I am sure it is due to the success of Japanese skincare practices containing these effective ingredients.

Wakame and certain other types of algae have been found to have age-defying nutrients that human skin requires. When we are young, our skin stays looking good because of the rapid replacement process that our skin handles efficiently. Old skin cells are constantly being replaced and our skin continues to look smooth and firm. This process slows with age. That is where seaweed extracts work their magic.

Biologists have found that skin ages partly because the falling levels of hyaluronic acid. This acid is a protein that acts like glue holding the collagen, keratin and elastin in skin together. It is not available in the same quantities as we age.

The connection between the falling levels of the acid and an enzyme hyaloronidase has been identified as the reason for the breakdown of hyaluronic acid. In laboratory studies, researchers have found that components of sea algae extracts were found to block this process and thereby increase new skin cell production by an unexpectedly high 25%.

Other factors that speed up the process of skin degeneration include stress, the effects of the sun, wind and outside temperature, and diet and lifestyle, which are of course often discussed. However, wakame extract is a proven antidote to the effects of many of these as well.

Clinical studies on creams containing these extracts have discovered that levels of hyaluronic acid increase to those of a much younger person when these are applied to skin. This leads to an improvement in the skin’s elasticity, causing fine lines to fade and a return to firmness. Seaweed extracts also help with dark circles and wrinkles around the eyes.

Wakame extract contains the vitamins B1, 2, 3, 6 and 12, which naturally soothe and control skin irritation and inflammation. Wakame kelp is also a good source of calcium sodium, iron, and potassium, and aids in toning the skin by regulating moisture levels. Antioxidants like sulfated polyfucose, also present in this seaweed extract, protect against the sun’s UV radiation and pollutants in the air.

Seaweed forests have thus proven to be the source of miracle plants, which can prevent the appearance of those dreaded facial fine lines and wrinkles. Look for products containing phytessence wakeman, the active ingredient which has been so successfully used in Japanese skincare and now available in a few American made skin care products. Find them, use them, and you will find yourself being a lot happier with you newly found skin.
